January is Mentoring Month across the country and in Kitsap County. BKAT's Charleen Burnette talks to Mary Ellen de la Pena of Kitsap County Human Services about the importance of mentoring young people in Kitsap County.

“The Jail in Your Community” features Kitsap County’s Sheriff Steve Boyer and Chief of Corrections Ned Newlin talking about our Kitsap County Jail. Included in this program is a short video about jails in our County.
Tune in Jan. 2 at 9pm and Jan. 4 at 5:30 pm!

BKAT's office hours are:
Monday and Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm
By appointment only: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00am-4:00pm
Tuesday evening 5:00pm-8:00pm and Saturday 10:00am-2:00pm.
